Day 4!!

start out the day with breakfast..

but this time round..we have american breakfast..

after so many day..

the breakfast were quite delicious compared to korean breakfast..

the 4th morning were extremely cold..

i took only a few step out of the hotel to put the luaggage into the bus..

and my feet was frozen for the whole journey from to Everland..

the journey to Everland were around 2 and half hours..

i hate that kind of feeling coz i felt like i was paralysed!!!

each step u take, i felt like needles piercing into my bone..

its so painful!!!..it didnt get any better until noon time..

after breakfast..we proceed to Everland..its another of their famous

theme park..this time round..there were not many ppl..

as holidays were over..

Everland is famous for their Zoo.

its is like our night safari..

this animal is the end product of a Lion and a Tiger..

the white tiger..

they have it in aus too..but the one in aus is all white..w/o the strips

its as tall as the bus..one of the tour mate actually

tot that there was someone inside..and tot it was a mascot!!

after which we proceed to this attraction named Snowbuster..

me while sliding down the snowhill..very FUN!! can played as many times as we want!!

after that we had our own lunch..

and we tour Everland ourselves..

at their saviour shop.. they have wide range of products..they are so cute

that u want to bring home everything..

me and dear tried this..its 360 degrees turn.. had lotsa of fun with this..kind of scary too!

after that we proceed to dinner...

we had mushrooms pot that nite..

than proceed to YongPyong..

its the ski resort!!!! this is the most forward-looking place

among the whole trip for dear..

we put down our luaggage and went exploring..

this place is called the Winter Sonata Cafe..

this is their shooting place...

dear and one of the tour mate..

one of the tour mate actually fell..coz the road is too slippery..

its all cover with snow..

thus wearing a good boots is neccessary..during winter time..

its 8pm and its -4 degrees..it pludge to -16degrees in the nite..

and the long awaited..fire cracker!!

their so-called burger king..

it cost around 20 bucks for 2 meals...expensive..

went to the supermarket to buy tidbits again.

dear caught a mini tasmania in the arcade!!!..

my dad threw the giant tasmania away..

but i brought home a mini one..keke..

we bought lots of tidbits..and ended our night

with a few rounds of daidi..with our tour mate..

Day 3..

we had our breakfast on the boat..

as usual..breakfast was awful..

the place we had our breakfast...

after that we proceed to a place where they sell ginseng powder

its an eye-opener..as the ginseng is in a form of human beings..

but the ginseng there are very expensive..

it cost around 800USD for a bottle of ginseng powder...

next stop..we went to the purple gems factory..

me n dear walk one round..and came down less than 5 mins..

we went to 7 eleven to buy tidbits instead..

proceed for lunch..and next stop is the Decksan Spa Castle..

its a place for spa and hot spring..

and we stayed a nite there too..

its like our fantasy island..but its much more bigger and fun..

the stay for the nite..

at first we tot it was a room onlee..

but to our surprise..its like an apartment..

with balcony..overseeing the whole swimming area...

after putting down our luaggage..

we change into our swim suit..

hahha..cant imagine swimming outdoor at onlee a few degree celcius.. but we did it!!! the chilling wind down our bone..

the tempreture of the hot spring is as high as 41 degree..

but at that kind of weather..its consider warm only..

we finish our swim at around 7pm..

went back to clean up.

and proceed for dinner...

Day 2!!!

woke up at 6am n meet at the lobby at 7am

had our breakfast buffet..

to me..korean breakfast are not very delicious

except for their porridge.. after breakfast..we proceed to Kimchi making session..

its a place where we learn to make kimchi..

the classroom..the guy in front is our tour guide..

the undone kimchi..with a cup of ginseng milk.. the ginseng milk is for drinking..

tat's why there is still some carrot left

after kimchi making..we can try on

their traditional customes..

after that we went dongdaman for some shopping

the things there are bit expensive compared

to myeong-dong..onlee had 2 hrs..didnt buy much..

after shopping..we went for lunch..and proceed

to Lotte World..their theme park..

Due to holiday..there's lotsa of ppl there..

we went for dinner..had Korean BBQ..

DELICIOUS!!!!

its located at the most expensive area of Seoul..

the houses at that area is the most expensive..

indeed..the whole street was filled with

flagship of all sort of branded stuff..

but its all close..due to chinese new yr..=(

ya ya..updating...

will update my korea trip now..

update a bit of what i've been up lately first....

school once a week..guess its much of wasting of time..

so im back to working life... got a job at UOB in commercial banking..

many thanx to kelly too.. so ya..i will be converting my studies to part time..

anyway..i had lotsa of fun during the trip

the trip is good..esp the hotels.. im very particular abt hotels

weather is bitter/chilling cold..

when the wind comes..i dun knoe where to hide..

and 4 layers of clothes does not make any differences..

everyday we had to apply lots of moisturise n lip balm before

starting the day..coz the weather is damn dry..

i shall start with Day 1..and post Day 2 at the next entry..

At Terminal 3..check-in..

Arrival at Korea Airport (8am)

1st destination - The Museum we get to see the different kind of costumes

the local korean wear from last few decades till todae..

we are not allowed to take photos when in the museum

photos can only be taken when we are outdoor..

after which..we proceed for lunch.. than to the hotel that we will be staying

for the nite..to put down our luaggage

and wash up..

we stayed at Lotte World (6 stars)

its very nice..its located at their CBD area

and its just opposite of

Myeong-dong shopping street...

after wash up..we went straight to explore

the place..the tour guide told us that the

shopping street is just opposite..so off we went..

only left with 30mins..i grab a bag n 3 scaves..

went back to the lobby and proceed with our tour.

the next stop..we went to watch a cultural play

that showcase the traditions of korea musical

instruments and dances..but its kind of boring for us..

after 10 mins..we started falling asleep..zzZZzzZ

after that boring play..we went for dinner..

we had ginseng chicken..2 thumbs up!!

after dinner..we were left with free time...

therefore.we went back to myeong-dong for more shopping..the things are cheap and very nice..

went back to hotel to rest after a few hrs of shopping..

regreted coz i didnt buy much..only bought costmetics..
